WDAD had three chances to pick up some creative silverware at the Grocer Marketing Advertising and PR Awards (GRAMIA) held last night at the Savoy.

The Gramia awards, aimed at highlighting and celebrating the best creative campaigns in the grocery and FMCG sectors had us nominated twice in the Recruitment Advertising Campaign of the Year category for our creative work for Costa (I’d like to speak to the manager) and for Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants (Get on). And whilst a great achievement, we sadly didn’t pick up the overall gong. Likewise, we were also shortlisted for the Creative Recruitment Agency of the Year title, but were unable to defend the accolade we secured last year.

Close on all accounts… but no cigar! Still, it was a good night enjoyed by us and our clients for which we have the sore heads this morning to prove it!
