
The challenge
With offices in 16 countries, Preqin is a global market leader in financial data and insights for the alternative assets community. More than 200,000 professionals, worldwide, trust their products to help them make better investment decisions. Preqin’s performance is driven by the quality of their data solutions – and that in turn relies on the talents of their team. Up against significantly larger talent competitors, WDAD were appointed after a pitch to help them define their Employer Value Proposition and help them to project their employer brand to their target audiences around the globe.
The solution
We design and ran a virtual creative workshop with participants in England, America and other office locations to hone down their employment propositions. what was clear was that Preqin was a very innovative place to work – the company welcomes and supports employee-driven initiatives and ideas. There is a variety of interesting work. Employees might do similar projects, but they will always have new tools. Preqin’s agile structure enables individuals to accomplish goals faster and progress without delay. They are truly ‘Empowered for Success’.
The results
The subsequent creative development had to work closely within their new corporate brand guidelines, but with Preqin’s help, we devised a look and feel that built on their EVP and was significantly different to their major competitors in what traditionally had been a rather staid and conservative niche and specialist FinTech sector. We used Empowered for Success as a strapline, and all collateral headings and content emphasised this point repeatedly. We devised various asset templates across a host of internal and external materials which were supplied as raw files for Preqin’s marketing team to utilise and roll-out.
