We’ve been busy this year with a number of career website builds which all seem to be coming along one straight after the other. This particular project was for Stagecoach London; a site that was conceived, created and built exactly on time and to schedule – something their fleet of buses also strive for 🙂 Having worked with Stagecoach for over 25 years, and built their previous careers website, this latest updated iteration comes with a great URL: www.busdrivers.london
Designed from mobile up, it’s fully responsive, easy to navigate and find the key messages, has some great images, and separate pages dedicated to the rewards and benefits on offer, as well as the exceptional training opportunities. The new features also include a social media page, community news, staff profiles – all of which are intended to raise the profile and engagement levels of the business with their local communities. It also has a google map facility to link their local depots and jobs.
A key objective of the website was to help Stagecoach achieve greater diversity and inclusion. We therefore created a dedicated page called ‘women behind the wheel’ featuring TV celebrity Ferne McCann extolling the virtues (and ease) of learning to become a qualified PVC license holder. Our supporting social media and recruitment advertising campaigns followed Ferne’s journey. It not only won a number of creative awards – something that we’re hugely proud of – but more crucially, it also successfully increased the number of applications and women hires.
