| | In the event, we had 123 applications from which I interviewed 19 candidates. I have to say, that this is significantly more than we would normally interview - such was the quality of the responses. During the process, a number of candidates commented on how effective the Welbeck microsite looked and I am sure that it will have had a major impact on the quality and quantity of applicants. An appointment was finally made and the successful candidate is due to start on Monday. Certainly, I was very encouraged by the microsite approach and I am sure that we will be employing this technique in the near future.
