Gift is one of the UK’s most established and respected names in face-to-face fundraising.

What we do

Chances are you’ve seen us on a street near you (the uniform’s a real head turner). We make it easier for charities to raise the money they need to make the world a better place. Our fundraising teams work all over the UK, talking directly to the public about the work of different charities and inspiring people to make a difference by making a regular donation through direct debit.

Charities choose Gift because they think we’re pretty good at what we do. In this highly specialised field of street fundraising, our professionalism and quality approach stand out. But while it’s great to be recognised for the good work we do, it’s even better knowing that we’ve helped those charities make a real difference to the world by recruiting almost half a million new donors.

Why we do it

In a nutshell, we’re out to make the planet a better place for everyone – and we believe the best way to do that is by hitting the streets and convincing people to play their part, not by being chained to a desk. We work with some great charities, big, and small, and we care very much about their work, whether it’s happening five minutes down the road or in a completely different timezone. We get a real kick out of recruiting new donors for them, and we’re always keen to hear from people who want to help us do that.

What we’re like

We’ve been around since 2001. Like many good things, we started small but have grown steadily over time. Today, we operate out of seven regional offices across the UK. Granted, we’re much larger and far more sophisticated than when we first started. But fame and acclaim haven’t changed us; we’re still a down-to-earth bunch and we’ve kept our culture friendly and informal – which is what we think makes Gift such a special place to work. In short, we might be bigger and cleverer, but we’re still nice people who do a serious job, only without taking ourselves too seriously.

And we’re pleased as punch about the fact that all our operational managers started out as fundraisers themselves. In fact, if we spot potential we’re never slow to cultivate it so we can help people succeed and grow within the company. It’s a simple approach and one we hope will make you happy too.
